Corporate Finance Manager


Our Client, An International Group active in production and distribution of building materials, is looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to re-enforce the Group Finance Team (HQ).
You are responsible for a broad variety of global projects, with a special focus of M&A projects.


As Corporate Finance manager you report directly to the Group CFO and are responsible for a broad variety of global projects, with a special focus of M&A projects (when opportunities arise):

You will be responsible for all M&A of the group:

  • You manage the M&A process from the beginning until the end:
    • Performing company research, industry benchmarking and strategic analysis
    • Set-up of supporting documentation of the target company profile
    • Valuation of the company and its different divisions
    • Market analyses, drivers and multiples
    • You actively participate in negotiations, together with the CFO
    • You take ownership of the full process (DD, SPA, …)
    • Coordination of the transaction, you manage the contacts with the external parties (analysts, advisors, banks, auditors) and align them together in order to respect the timeframe and deadlines
  • You will develop the financial project plan, including risks and sensitivities and oversee strategic financial modelling.
  • You will make full investment proposals to the CFO, CEO and Board of Directors
  • You will manage the Post acquisition integration and report the operational performance & the financial results of the investment to the CFO, CEO and Board of Directors

You will be responsible for investor relations, which includes ESG reporting (annual report + intermediary updates if necessary) and preparations for a potential IPO/next sale of the group;

You will support the CFO and other group Finance team members on any ad-hoc projects:

  • Assist in executing internal audits (operational and financial) at all group entities
  • Assist in Developing Business Plans
  • Assist in the IPO readiness trajectory
  • Assist in ad-hoc requests of the Board of Directors, HQ management, Lenders


You have:

  • University degree in economics
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in corporate finance, financial transactions, M&A, etc.
  • You have experience with a broad range of aspects of corporate finance activities, including pre and post transaction activities (accounting, financing, structuring, integration)
  • Advanced Excel financial modelling skills
  • All-round corporate banking financial expertise is an asset
  • Experienced in multicultural settings
  • Preference for candidates with experience working in a strong growing international industrial company
  • Language knowledge: Dutch excellent, French, English and German: very good
