For our client, a PE-Owned company, we are looking for a driven Buy-In CFO in order to support the company’s growth and their buy & build strategy.

As CFO you will play a key role in the organization:
•    You act as a real ‘financial business partner’ of the CEO and you work closely with him on M&A: a.o. in target screening and selection, in determining the deal fit, by establishing the vetting guidelines, by performing due diligence and creating a transaction plan, by strategic negotiations, by driving a successful integration, and identify potential synergies, transformation and value-creation opportunities; 
•    You maintain contacts with the major stakeholders; 
•    You are constantly monitoring and optimizing the working capital; 
•    You attract and negotiate potential financing; 
•    You are in charge of the contacts and reporting towards the banks and other credit providers; 
•    You are the guardian of the internal processes and you innovate and improve them; 
•    You define the financial strategy of the group: you are a real financial architect who develops a clear vision and eye on the long-term goals; 
•    You hold the end responsibility for the daily financial governance in close collaboration with the Finance Director and the finance team; 
•    You work out of our European HQ near Kortrijk, and you are open to travel on a regular base towards our foreign subsidiaries and in the context of potential acquisition files; 
•    You will report directly to the CEO and take active part in the Management Team; 
 

Profiel

•    Master degree in an economical/financial direction
•    Solid experience in M&A financed by Private Equity
•    Extensive financial knowledge: accounting, consolidation, management reporting, tax.
•    A clear view on figures with an analytical and pragmatic mindset
•    Strong in budget control, margin analysis and margin monitoring
•    Able to implement management reporting and KPI’s fully automated
•    IT minded;
•    Can-do-mentality, both operational & strategic thinker, with a strong drive for improvement and process optimization
•    Outstanding leadership & management skills 
•    A strong backbone to challenge the CEO and the Board substantively
•    Stress resistant
•    Team-player with a no-nonsense mentality
•    Language skills Dutch and English (French & German is added value)
